Nene is an Evaluation Assistant, who joined IOE in October 2020. She was born in Rome from an Italian mother and a Nigerian father, and grew up in Germany and Switzerland. Nene started her experience in IFAD in 2017 as Grants administration and front office assistant at the International Land Coalition. She then moved, in 2018, first to the Quality Assurance Unit, scheduling all Operational Strategy and Policy Guidance Committees (OSCs) and Design Review Meetings (DRM) chaired by the President and the Vice-President, and then to West and Central Africa where she supported the Regional Environmental and Climate Team (RECT) in the coordination of the GEF and ASAP fund. In 2019, she was appointed as Green Climate Fund Programme Assistant in IFAD. In 2020, she covered a temporary assignment in OPR, scheduling Operational, Strategy and Policy Guidance Committees (OSC) and Design Review Meetings (DRM) for Track 2 Projects and contributing to the SECAP Team workflow. Prior to IFAD she worked for 20 years in the private sector for Saatchi&Saatchi, Diners Club International, Hilton and more.
