The roundtable titled ‘From Neutral Observers to Advocates, Truth Speakers, and Agents Provocateurs: What Role Should Evaluators Play? Reflections Around Evaluation Policies’ will take place during the 14th European Evaluation Society biennial conference, on 8 June. The representatives of the evaluation offices of IFAD, FAO, WFP, CGIAR, and CGF will reflect on how evaluation functions are transforming to respond to these challenges through the revision of their Evaluation polices. Building on the experiences of a range of full-fledge evaluation functions with design and early learnings from operationalizing revised/new Evaluation policies, the proposed panel will reflect and share their vision and benefits on the role and contribution of the evaluation policies in transforming evaluation systems to address current challenges.

Fabrizio Felloni, IOE Deputy Director, will be among the discussants.
