The third edition of Shared Development, IFAD’s South-South and Triangular Cooperation (SSTC) newsletter, highlights how we leverage SSTC as a tool for country programme delivery.

The second edition of Shared Development, the IFAD newsletter on SSTC, focuses on interventions at the regional and country levels that target climate adaptation and resilience.

مشروع STARLIT (تعزيز المرونة الزراعية من خلال التعلم والابتكار) هو مبادرة يمولها الصندوق الدولي للتنمية الزراعية - الصين للتعاون بين بلدان الجنوب والتعاون الثلاثي وتهدف إلى تعزيز قدرة المزارعين على الصمود في سلسلة قيمة الذرة في كينيا ورواندا.

تشارك هذه النشرة القصص والحلول للزراعة والتحول الريفي ، وتبني صورة لكيفية مساهمة بلدان التعاون بين بلدان الجنوب والتعاون الثلاثي في تحسين سبل عيش سكان الريف.

تستخدم منظمة الأغذية والزراعة للأمم المتحدة، والصندوق الدولي للتنمية الزراعية، وبرنامج الأغذية العالمي التعاون بين بلدان الجنوب والتعاون الثلاثي لدعم برامج التغذية المدرسية القائمة على الزراعة المحلية. 

تسلط هذه المطبوعة الضوء على بعض الابتكارات الموثقة في كينيا، وتنزانيا، وبلدان أفريقية أخرى. 

Brazil and Africa share similar environmental, climate and social conditions, and both face similar development challenges. This creates interesting opportunities for South-South collaboration through technology transfer in several areas, including agriculture, climate change mitigation and adaptation, and value chains development.

This paper is a contribution to the celebration of the fortieth anniversary of the Buenos Aires Plan of Action for Promoting and Implementing Technical Cooperation among Developing Countries (TCDC) (UN, 1978), which gave birth to what is known today, in the UN system and beyond, as “South-South and Triangular Cooperation" (SSTC).
