Driving Africa’s Transformation: Good Practices and Strategies for Development Practitioners

Oscar Garcia, IOE Director participated at the African Development Bank (AfDB) 2016 Evaluation Week as a panellist in a discussion on Strengthening Agriculture and Food Security.

AfDB Development Evaluation Week 2016 aimed to help drive Africa’s transformation by convening development practitioners to share evidence-­based knowledge about what works and why, in a bid to inform the way forward towards achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. This year’s theme was “Driving Africa’s Transformation: Good Practices and Strategies for Development Practitioners”.

The event was held at AfDB’s Headquarters, Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire, from 7 to 11 November 2016.
