The International Development Evaluation Association (IDEAS) hosted two launch events for the soon-to-be released book entitled of ‘Evaluation in Fragility, Conflict and Violence’.

The first launch event took place on 29 June. The event featured opening comments by Andrea Cook, Director Evaluation, WFP, and Kabir Hashim, MP, Sri Lanka. Panellists of the event included Hur Hassnain (IDEAS), Simona Somma (IFAD), Inga-lill Aronsson (Uppsala University, IDEAS), Rhiannon McHugh (FCDO), and Melinda Sutherland (ADB).

The second launch event took place on 8 July. The event featured opening comments by Fabrizio Felloni, Deputy Director of the Independent Office of Evaluation (IOE) of IFAD, and Gonzalo Hernández Licona, Director of the Multidimensional Poverty Network at the University of Oxford, and member of IOE’s Evaluation Advisory Panel. Panellists of the event included Lauren Kelly (IEG WB), Hur Hassnain (IDEAS), Keiko Kuji-Shikatani (CES), and Marco Lorenzoni (ESS/INTPA).
