IOE completed a Corporate-level Evaluation on IFAD's engagement in fragile and conflict-affected states and situations, and as a final step before presenting the report to the Executive Board in April 2015, IOE organized an in-house workshop dedicated to this evaluation, to share and discuss findings and recommendations.

The objectives of the evaluation were to: (i) assess the performance of IFAD's engagement in fragile and conflict affected states and situations and identify the explanatory factors that lie behind current performance; and (ii)generate a series of findings, lessons learnt and recommendations that will assist the IFAD management and Executive Board in deciding on the future strategic and operations directions of the Fund.
