The Independent Office of Evaluation of IFAD (IOE) had the opportunity to share its evaluation knowledge and experience by participating in the December 2016 meeting of the Evaluation Cooperation Group (ECG) of the multilateral development banks. The event was hosted by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), in its capacity as ECG Chair 2016, at its headquarters in London, from 30 November to 2 December.

Oscar A. Garcia, Director of IOE led a session on Evaluation work in field offices with support from the EBRD and World Bank Group. In the same session, Mr Garcia delivered a presentation on IOE’s experience in the context of the recently completed corporate-level evaluation on IFAD's decentralization experience.
