On 12 January 2023, Indran A. Naidoo, IOE Director, will deliver remarks during the second New Development Bank (NDB) - Independent Evaluation Office (IEO) Lecture Series. The title of the presentation will be ‘Evaluation principles and practices for NDB to consider to improve transparency and accountability. Experiences of UNDP IEO and IFAD IOE’. Mr. Alvaro Lario, President of IFAD, will deliver the keynote address. The President will share insights and experiences - from Management’s perspective - on the role of independent evaluation in promoting organizational transformation and better results on the ground.

The IEO Lecture Series was introduced in mid-2022, with the broad aim of fostering an evaluation, results and learning culture across the Bank and amongst its main stakeholders.  It also serves as a key platform to share thoughts and ideas on topics of high relevance for accelerating the SDGs.
