The IFAD Executive Board (EB) during a country visit to Tunisia will take place from the 3^rd to the 8^th of November 2024, the visit wil enable the EB representatives to witness IFAD’s work on the ground and observe first-hand the opportunities and challenges that the Fund faces in carrying out its mandate. The mission will also promote dialogue with state and local government officials regarding IFAD’s role in Tunisia, allow Board representatives to meet beneficiaries, and provide an insight into the importance of public policy as a means of promoting rural development.

Dr Indran A. Naidoo, IOE Director will join the EB delegation, and provide insights into the findings, conclusions and recommendations of the Tunisia Country Strategy and Programme Evaluation carried out in 2017.
