On 1 July 2021, an online discussion on “Mapping Evaluation for Transformation: Promising practices for the future” took place. The event was organized by a team of evaluation and transformation specialists and enthusiasts, with the support of the David and Lucile Packard Foundation. It brought together thought leaders working at the interface of transformation and evaluation, enabling them to share knowledge and experiences in order to help evaluation practice accelerate the large-scale changes and transformations the world urgently needs.

Dr Indran A. Naidoo, Director, IOE, took part in the event and provided key insights in response to the series of open questions designed to encourage exploration and exchange.

The online discussion was the first in a series of virtual events created to map current and future transformative evaluation practices.
