Do you know of an evaluation of a development intervention that resulted in transformational change, explicitly linked to the SDGs? Nominate it today for the second Evaluation for Transformational Change Award!

This award competition, organized by the Independent Office of Evaluation of the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the Independent Evaluation Group of the World Bank, and the International Development Evaluation Association, recognizes the growing understanding of the need to transform our societies, our economies, and our relationship with nature to be able to achieve the aspirations expressed in the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Paris Agreement. There is a sense of urgency in this ambition: the world faces multiple interconnected, cascading crises including climate change, biodiversity destruction, a pandemic, a recession, and vast and accelerating inequalities.

The Evaluation for Transformational Change Award seeks to recognize evaluations that have contributed to transformational change. Nominations are now open. A total of US$10,000 will be awarded to winners, who will be invited to take part in the 2022 IDEAS Global Assembly and Award Ceremony. More information can be found here.
