On 27-28 March 2023, Indran A. Naidoo and Fabrizio Felloni, Director and Deputy Director of the Independent Office of Evaluation of IFAD (IOE), respectively, will participate in the Spring 2023 session of the Evaluation Cooperation Group (ECG). The session will address the ECG’s strategic directions, in addition to focusing on four select themes.  

Dr Naidoo will deliver a presentation under the first theme of the session, ‘opportunities and challenges to improve evaluation influence’. In his presentation, Dr Naidoo will discuss the importance of asserting independence and promoting engagement for better evaluation use, and present the experiences of IOE in this regard.

Mr Felloni will deliver a presentation under the fourth theme of the session, ‘innovative methods in evaluation’. In his presentation, Mr Felloni will discuss opportunities for harnessing the use of information technology for evaluation.
