The Global Evaluation Initiative (GEI) Partnership Council will take place this year in Paris, France, on 3-4 May 2022. Day 1 will provide participants an overview of GEI’s implementation over an 18-month period, with special emphasis on deliverables and planned activities for the next year. An endorsement for the overall direction of GEI’s work and proposed evaluation methods for each Business Line will be sought. Day 2 will focus on key operational matters for GEI’s future success. These risks include Partnership, Political, Institutional, and Financial Risk, all of which are expected as GEI continues to grow, expanding the scope of the program and adding more partners. An endorsement for the fundraising strategy will be sought.

As a key partner of the GEI, the Independent Office of Evaluation of IFAD (IOE) will be represented by its Director, Indran A. Naidoo.
