Learning event on evaluating the support to pro-poor value chain development - IOE
In order to promote dialogue across the Fund, the Independent Office of Evaluation of IFAD has organized a learning event on evaluating the support to pro-poor value chain development. The event was held on Thursday, 19 September 2019, from 10:00-12:15 hrs at IFAD headquarters in Rome, Italy.
The purpose of the learning event was to share experiences and the main findings of recent evaluations of international development agencies on support to pro-poor value chain.
The event included a keynote address and presentation by Mr Máximo Torero Cullen, Assistant Director-General, Economic and Social Development Department, FAO, followed by a presentation by IOE on the recently conducted corporate-level evaluation on IFAD’s Engagement in Pro-poor Value Chain Development. Ms Cornelia Richter, Vice-President of IFAD participated as discussant along with other representatives of IFAD Management.
The event was attended by 58 people via webcast.
