On 6 October, the Independent Office of Evaluation (IOE) held a workshop on the 2015 Annual Report on Results and Impact of IFAD Operations (ARRI) including its learning theme on sustainability of benefits. IOE will present the results of IFAD operations based on independent evaluations and highlight cross-cutting/systemic issues and lessons learned that need attention in the future to further strengthen the Fund's development effectiveness.

IOE evaluations provide an objective assessment of IFAD's results, and identify lessons learned from experience. Through independent evaluation, IOE is helping IFAD to make a difference for better impact on the lives of poor rural people.
