In collaboration with the Government of Ecuador and the Latin America and the Caribbean Division of IFAD, the Independent Office of Evaluation has organized a National Roundtable Workshop for the Ecuador Country Programme Evaluation (CPE) on 21 June 2013 in Quito.The objectives of the workshop were to:

• discuss the main issues emerging from the Ecuador CPE;
• provide inputs for the preparation of the evaluation's Agreement at Completion Point;
• provide an opportunity for reflecting on key issues for the forthcoming programme strategy between IFAD and the GOE.  

On 20 June the IFAD delegation had the opportunity to undertake a field visit in the area of the Proyecto de Desarrollo del Corredor Central (PDCC) and familiarize with the project's intervention supporting local capacity development and community-driven productive investments.
