The Independent Office of Evaluation (IOE) evaluates the impact of IFAD's operations. Our work provides evaluative evidence to guide IFAD's evaluation processes, helping to understand what works and what needs to be modified for a better impact on the lives of poor rural people. IOE reports directly to the board so it is ideally placed to objectively evaluate IFAD-financed policies, strategies and operations.
