In the context of the finalization of the Evaluation Synthesis Report on the Results-Based COSOP, a learning event on RB-COSOP was organised by IOE on 8 November 2012.

The workshop provided an opportunity to share views on the topic, to listen to the experience of other institutions and to identify concrete proposals that can help IFAD enhance its performance in this area.

The Synthesis Report is currently being prepared by IOE, on the basis of a desk review of past IOE's country programme evaluations and discussions with IFAD staff to understand the experience gained by IFAD so far in the use of RB-COSOP, its challenges and opportunities.

In addition, the Report makes an attempt to capture lessons learned and good practices from other development organizations on the same theme.
