Mali country programme evaluation: National roundtable workshop - IOE
In collaboration with the Government of Mali and the Western and Central Africa Division (WCA), the Independent Office of Evaluation (IOE) organised a National Roundtable Workshop for the Mali Country Programme Evaluation (CPE) on 4 December 2012 in Bamako, Mali. The objectives of the Mali CPE national roundtable workshop were to:
- discuss the main issues emerging from the Mali CPE;
- provide inputs for the preparation of the evaluation's Agreement at Completion Point (ACP); and
- provide an opportunity for reflecting on key issues for the forthcoming Mali Country Strategic Opportunities Programme (COSOP).
The national roundtable workshop was attended by over one hundred participants, including the Minister of Agriculture of Mali, Mr Yaranga Coulibaly; the Minister of Livestock and Fishery, Mr Makan Tounkara; the Minister of Labour, Employment and Professional Training, Ms Déidia Mahamane Kattra Diallo; the Commissioner for Food Security, Mr Yaya N. Tamboura; the Director WCA, the Acting Director IOE, and staff members from PTA, WCA and IOE. Representatives from several Ministries and Development Agencies of Mali attended the workshop, along with staff from international development organisations active in Mali, NGOs, research organisations and private entrepreneurs.
