Rob is an internationally recognized evaluation expert who has worked on the key issues of our times: the nexus between humanity and the environment, and transformational change for the Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement. Starting in 1980 at the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he became involved in evaluation from 1999 onwards in various positions and has advocated for innovation, governance, ethics and system perspectives. Since 2007 he has organized five major international conferences on evaluation issues, ranging from climate change to transformational change, as well as high-level Wilton Park meetings addressing new frontiers in evaluation.
