Genny Bonomi is a Senior Evaluation Officer at IOE, where she is responsible for conducting Country Programme and Thematic Evaluations. Before joining IFAD, she has been working in FAO Office of Evaluation managing several Country Programme Evaluations as well as Evaluation of Global Programmes. She started her professional career at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), where she served as Policy Analyst in the Directorate for Development Cooperation, working on peer-reviews of Development Assistance Committee’s members. She has a doctorate degree from the University of Rome, La Sapienza, during which she also benefited from visiting exchanges at the School for African and Oriental Studies in London, the UN Economic Commission for Latin America in Santiago, Chile, and the Department of Political and Social Sciences of the University of Antwerp, Belgium.
