On 21 and 22 January 2021, the United Nations Evaluation Group (UNEG) held its virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM). The meeting opened with the remarks of Mr Masahiro Igarashi, UNEG chair, and provided an important forum to review UNEG’s current work and discuss the strategic objectives of the UNEG Strategy 2020-2024, as the importance of advancing UNEG’s vision to enhance the professionalization of evaluation within the UN system and to influence policy-making and operational work through evaluations.

Mr Fabrizio Felloni, Deputy Director of the Independent Office of Evaluation of IFAD (IOE), participated in the event.
