The Annual Fall Meeting of the Evaluation Cooperation Group (ECG) of multilateral development banks was hosted by the Islamic Development Bank in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on 2-4 December 2019.

The event was attended by the heads of evaluation and evaluation officers from multilateral development banks members of the ECG, as well as representatives of countries' Ministries.

The Director of the Independent Office of Evaluation of IFAD (IOE), Mr Oscar A. Garcia, took part in the panel discussion on the “Global Value Chain – An Effective Approach to Achieving Development Results”. He also chaired the thematic session titled “Evaluation Policies”.

Fabrizio Felloni, Deputy Director of IOE, also took part in the event.
