On 15 October 2020, the Working Group on Incorporating Social and Environmental Impact on Evaluations – United Nations Evaluation Group (UNEG) organized an Evaluation Practice Exchange (EPE) session on assessing new ways to integrate environmental and social impacts into evaluations. IFAD made a joint presentation with the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP).

Mr Suppiramaniam Nanthikesan, Lead Evaluation Officer, IOE took part in the seminar with an intervention on IFAD’s main policy and framework aiming to ensure that all evaluations are able to accurately assess the environmental and social impacts of development interventions implemented by the organization.
