The Independent Office of Evaluation of IFAD (IOE), in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance of the People’s Republic of China and IFAD’s Asia and the Pacific Division, are organizing a final workshop for the China Country Strategy and Programme Evaluation (CSPE), as the concluding step in the evaluation process.

The event will take place on 28 June 2023 in Beijing. Participation is expected from Government partners; development partners; civil society organizations; private sector partners; and IFAD senior management and staff.

The objectives of the workshop are to:

• discuss the main findings, recommendations and issues emerging from the CSPE;

• reflect on opportunities and challenges in the IFAD-Government partnership and strategic priorities for IFAD’s next country strategic opportunities programme; and

• agree to finalize and sign the evaluation’s Agreement at Completion Point (ACP).
