Syrian Arab Republic Country Strategy Note 2022 – 2023

The goal of the Country Strategy Note is to contribute to the reduction of poverty, food insecurity, vulnerability and youth unemployment in rural communities. Particular attention will be paid to the gender, youth, nutrition and climate change aspects of IFAD's activities that are consistent with IFAD12 mainstreaming priorities.

The CSN has the following two strategic objectives

1. Support to climate resilient livelihoods at household and community level
2. Improve agricultural productivity and access to markets through financial inclusion and strengthened value chains
