Hans has provided advice and support on evaluation matters to bilateral and multilateral development agencies and banks over many years. He has over 30 years of professional experience in development evaluation. He has led the elaboration and consensus building of internationally agreed norms and standards for evaluating development co-operation, including the DAC Principles for Evaluation; the Glossary of Terms in Evaluation and Results Based Management; the Guidance on Managing Joint Evaluations; the Quality Standards for Development Evaluation, and the DAC Criteria for Evaluation.
