UNEG Annual General Meeting 2023 - IOE
On 24-26 January 2023, Indran A. Naidoo and Fabrizio Felloni, IOE Director and Deputy Director respectively, will attend the Annual General Meeting of the UN Evaluation Group (UNEG). The Global Environmental Facility (GEF) will host the meeting, which will be held at the World Bank Headquarters in Washington D.C.
Items for discussion during the meeting include, among others: evaluating during times of crisis; use of artificial intelligence in evaluation; review of the 2020-2024 UNEG strategy and preparation for the 2025-2029 Strategy; Drafting the UNEG Work Plan 2023. The meeting will also offer an opportunity to review the work of three UNEG strategic objectives, namely develop and safeguard professional norms, standards and guidance; influence policy-making and operational work through evaluations; and enhance professionalization and capacity.
